Learn to Skate General Information

Welcome to AdventHealth Center Ice Learn to Skate USA

Our program offers group skating lessons from ages 3 to adult.

IC's Snowballs: (Tues & Thurs 5:15-6pm) (Sat & Sun 10:15-11am)

  • $120.00 + tax (pricing may vary based off class dates & schedule)
  • 3 to 8 yrs
  • fun and interactive program for young beginner skaters (Snowplow Sam 1-4)
  • 45 Minute class includes Warm-Up, instruction time and cool-down
  • Graduation ceremony with IC at the end of session
  • Follows Learn to Skate USA's nationally recognized program
  • Mandatory helmets and pants, warm clothing high recommended

 

IC's Skate School Pre-Free Skate thru Free Skate 5  (Tues & Thurs 6-6:45pm) (Sat & Sun 11-11:45am)

  • $120.00 + tax (pricing may vary based off class dates & schedule)
  • 9yrs + and adults, or skaters who have graduated from IC's Snowballs class
  • Structured program for Beginner thru Intermediate level skaters (Basic 1-6, Pre Free Skate-Free Skate 5, All Adult levels)
  • 45 Minute class includes Warm-Up, instruction time and practice/free time
  • Follows Learn to Skate USA's nationally recognized program
  • Includes Learn to Skate USA membership

 

Both Class will include with registration:

  • Skate rental for classes
  • 2 public session skate passes (inclusive of skates)

Discounts:

  • Multiple class discount program (30% each additional day of classes)
  • Sibling discount (15% all siblings)
  • AdventHealth employee (10%)
  • **Discounts may NOT be combined**

Class Recommendations

Arrival time for class:
Students should arrive at least 15 minutes before class to get their skates on and prepare for class.

**NOTE: AdventHealth Center Ice DOES NOT provide or rent helmets, jackets, gloves, or socks.**

Where to go when you get to AdventHealth Center Ice:
If you have already registered for class, go straight to ‘skate rental,’ get your skates, and put them on- you do not have to check in at the front desk. Once you have your skates on, go to the designated rink to get your lane assignments.
